Burbank Podiatry

Stuart Steinberg, DPM

It is with highly mixed emotions that I write this letter to inform you that I will be officially retiring from the practice of Podiatric Medicine effective September 30, 2020. As many of you are aware, I stopped seeing patients in the office at the end of March, 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic as I am exposed to increased risk because of my age and the presence of an autoimmune disease from which I have a compromised immune system. I had been working a reduced schedule prior to that and foresaw retirement at the end of 2021. However, I feel it is in the best interest of my health to accelerate this plan.

It is very important for you to continue to receive podiatric care. You have the option of continuing your podiatric care with our other doctors at Burbank Foot Care Center. Dr. Joseph Park and Dr. Tina Shahin are at the ready to provide you the excellent care to which you have become accustomed. Of course, you may choose to seek care outside our practice.

Your medical records will remain with Burbank Foot Care Center. Should you wish to seek care from another podiatrist outside of our practice, we can provide records upon request by completing and signing a medical records release form indicating where you would like the records sent and returning this to Burbank Foot Care Center.

It has been a pleasure providing you with podiatric care over the years and I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you .Thank you for helping to bring fulfillment to my life over the past 39 years. I wish you all the best.

Sincerely,

Dr Stuart Steinberg
